Don’t expect to see Britney Spears‘ assistant Carla around anymore. Insiders tell OK! the singer fired her latest sidekick following her very public breakdown two weeks ago.
According to a source close to Britney, the singer “called Carla from Cedars and let her go,” for reasons including “talking to the press despite anon-disclosure agreement, and lying to Kevin Federline’s lawyers when she was interviewed prior to her court hearing.

“Carla used to be Britney’s maid,” an insider tells us. “One day, Britney just decided on a whim that Carla should be her assistant.
“And then she left Carla at the gas station. And now she’s out of a job”!
