Making money with your blog is not a new concept but I remember when posting ads on your blog was a huge no-no. I never really understood that whole thought process. I mean Why not? I understand if your whole blog was all ads and had no original content but I don’t think that if you add a few banner ads to you blog your selling out or that you suck.

So this brings me to the topic of my post..How to make money with your blog and what I’ve found to be successful so far.

Well..Honestly the only money I’ve made as an affiliate online is with my Dreamhost coupons and an erotic toy site which I don’t promote but I’ve been receiving checks from them for years so I’m not sure how that works but I can honestly say it has. I opened it. I linked it a few places and that was it so I think you must make money from the people who sign up under you.

The Dreamhost coupons RULE though because not only do I make money but the person who uses the coupon gets a free domain name and 50 bucks off a hosting package. I actually used another bloggers coupon to sign up for my Dreamhost account. Pay it forward.

I’ve signed up for some other affiliate programs recently so we’ll see how those pan out and I found those programs on other blogs so I’m sure they made money from me signing up which is cool in my opinion. Spread the Love!
