One Bored Gamer Girl - Star Wars 2008

I’m so bored with the video game selection that’s out right now. I’ve either played it or I don’t want to play it. My all time favorite games are , Silent Hill , , , (wallpaper), Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion…etc.

Basically think of any good fantasy-based, role-playing adventure game and I’ve played it. Has anyone played Dark Sector yet? I’m just curious if it’s any good..I haven’t heard much about it yet but it’s one of the last games at Blockbuster for PS3 that I haven’t rented yet..they have a crappy selection but their actually getting a tad better lately. Lame thing is they got rid of all their older games so if I wanted to rent Silent Hill 2 or SSX Tricky..I couldn’t..Blockbuster won’t carry older games anymore.
Anyway, there are a few games that are coming out soon that I’m excited about..

OMG! Creepy as hell! The sound effects in Silent Hill have always creeped me out big time. I can’t play in the dark.

“Actor/comedian Bernie Mac passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” confirmed by his publicist, Danica Smith.

The star of the critically acclaimed “The Bernie Mac Show” was hospitalized several days ago for pneumonia.

The comedian had suffered from sarcoidosis, an inflammatory lung disease that produces tiny lumps of cells in the body’s organs, but the condition went into remission in 2005.

His publicist said Mac’s pneumonia wasn’t related to sarcoidosis.

On Friday, a spokeswoman for Bernie Mac whose real name is, Bernard McCullough, said that he had been responding well to treatment for pneumonia and denied earlier rumors that he had died.

Even though he’s refused to change his image for Hollywood, Bernie Mac made his mark on Tinseltown.

He started his career in stand-up and was a featured comedian in The Original Kings of Comedy. He went on to produce and star in an award-winning self-titled TV series The Bernie Mac Show and played roles in several feature films, such as Ocean’s 11, 12 and 13, Charlie’s Angels 2, Pride and Mr. 3000—his first starring role. Mac also wrote several books, including Maybe You Never Cry Again.

Heath Ledger - Loved and Warned

Filed Under (Heath Ledger, celebrity, celebrity kids, celebrity pictures, news, pictures, rest in peace) by Ibdreamy on 07-08-2008

Jack Nicholson

told reporters outside the Wolseley restaurant in London last night that he had tried to warn Heath Ledger of the dangers of his lifestyle, and hinted that he had seen it coming. When Nicholson was informed that Heath Ledger had died, possibly of an overdose, he said, “That’s awful,” and added “I warned him.”

Nicole Kidman

“I am shocked and very saddened by the news. I deeply respected Heath’s work and always admired his continuing development as an artist. My thoughts are with his family and close friends.”

Cate Blanchett

“I think Tennyson got it right in the poem when he described someone as having died at a young age but burning the candles at both ends, and oh what a beautiful flame he made, that was Heath, what a beautiful flame he made and a great talent. My heart goes out to everyone in his family and my family. The saddest thing is his daughter whom he just loved

dearly.”

Once in awhile, a whisper beckons.

And I find my feet terribly restless

Do you know how it feels like

To feel that primal urge to take flight?

It’s all pretty amazing..if you take the time to think about how much the personal computer has changed the world. How much it has changed my everyday life, the PC has given me the ability to learn, research, communicate, design, play games, work.. and the list goes on..I can’t imagine my world with out my computer. ((kiss..kiss)) Most importantly the computer has given me the ability to learn about any topic that I can imagine and type it into a search box. I love that!

Apple I

This is the Apple I and no I’m not kidding. This picture is just WOW amazing - this was taken at The National Museum of American History in Washington DC
Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, the most famous members of the Homebrew Computer Club, designed the Apple I over 30 years ago, in 1976. It was mostly a kit computer. Users bought the workings and built their own case hence the wood case.

Apple II

This is the Apple II, or Apple, it became one of the most popular computers ever. Although it is a vast improvement over the Apple I, it contains the same processor and runs at the same speed.
